Advantages: Cheap, stylish, good clean shave
Disadvantages: struggles with longer growth

...My twin rotary head shaver finally gave up the ghost. I wanted something cheap, stylish that gave a good shave. I paid £32 for this from Boots after reading some good reviews. I've only used it a few times since purchasing it so the following are my thoughts so far. PRO's: - Cheap - Stylish - Quick to charge (1 hr = complete charge (30 mins use) - Easy to clean (washes under a tap) - Very close shave - takes time to get there though!! - Good trimming (2 sizes) features - work very well. CON's: - Struggles to cut growth that is more than 3 days (you have to trim first and then shave). Advantages: Tourmaline plates give better protection to hair
Disadvantages: None except price

...£100+!) I checked out the details with SDLhair, who distribute this make. I spoke to a very helpful lady who confirmed that yes, it really was all true, the T3 is the latest and best model. The plates contain Tourmaline crystals which are crushed into the ceramic plates enabling them to produce a higher level of negative ions. Tourmaline is an expensive precious stone which apparently posseses unique ionic and infrared properties giving the hair a shinier and healthier finish! Well that did it for me, so I tracked down the best deal on the internet with Salonlines.co.uk...£155 for a T3 Mark 2, 1" pair of straighteners and....errm....the matching T3 hairdryer..well I had to get the matching hairdryer!.. and it's brilliant too, but this review is about the straighteners. Advantages: gives a good close shave
Disadvantages: none that spring to mind

...The cruzer3 provides a good close shave, but what sets it apart is the ease with which it shaves some of the harder to reach places. This is due to the 'Floating Smart Foil System' which adjusts to match your face and captures hairs growing in different directions. The battery life is not a problem, it lasts for 30mins and only takes 1hour to fully recharge (or 5 mins charging for one shave). It also has a detachable shaving head, making washing the cruzer easy. I cannot honestly review the beard trimming or styler functions as I haven't used them, but Braun claim the shaver can trim beards to specific lengths and style professionally.
