Advantages: Preview channel on EPG, quick scan for new channel and cheap Disadvantages: Signal strength and TUTV have shut there normal service
I bought the AstratecTOPD2 as a offer from Top Up TV (who are now Top Up TV Anytime, which doesn't work with this box now!!!). It cost just under £50 and came with a Top Up TV Starter Pack.
You will need a pretty stroung aerial to use with this box, as my indoor amplified aerail was pretty useless... I had to keep moving the aerial to get differant channels! So i reccomend that if you get this box, make sure you have a pretty powerful aerial.
The design is small, shiny black and silver. It sit's neatly on top of my DVD player and looks the part.
Picture quality is OK, nothing special, but nothing bad. It can depand on your signal strength aswell though...
Sound quality is superb, although not as good as a Surround sound system etc!!
And a big downside to the box's card slot is that Top Up TV have closed their normal ...
