Well I just love this laptop. It is everything I want in a laptop. It does have a few minor flaws but the pros totally outweigh them.
Appearance
This laptop is a great looking laptop. Only the size of an A5 notepad, it is small and yet it still manages to look smart yet fun. I chose the baby blue cover for my asus eee but any colour looks just as good. Inside, the layout is neat and tidy with reasonable sized keys for this small laptop. The sides of the laptop look clean in simple as is to be expected with a small laptop like this. Without a CD drive, it allows more room for the 3 USB ports and SD slot allowing the back of the laptop to be left clear bar the power port. Overall, a great looking laptop.
Function
With such a small hard drive of only 4gb and a small amount of memory of 512mb, this laptop surprised me with its good range of functions on this laptop. However, I would recommend buying an external hard drive or an SD card if you need a bit more memory. This laptop came with linux which I personally like to use and I find a bit more flexibility with linux than with windows. It is possible however, to install windows onto the eee. Although the big downfall of the eee is the lack of CD drive, it is possible to get an external one for a small price.
Value For Money
Coming in at about £150, this laptop is excellent value for money and is ideal for young children learning how to use a laptop or for students who need to save their money. Also with it weighing in at less than 1kg, it is easily transportable.

Review of Asus Eee PC 701
Advantages: Small compact but infinitely useable, beating smart phones such as Blackberry or iphone. Disadvantages: Not many, I just wish it would work with my router.
