Advantages: Security, Hassle free sales, no listing fees Disadvantages: Less members than ebay
This is a brilliant website that takes security seriously. The in house payment systems make for fast yet secure and reliable methods of payment compared to Ebay. I have bought from there twice and have both times been extremely happy with the service i get. There are less scammers on CQOut than on Ebay due to the £1 fee for signing up which is ultimately given to charity anyway. The feedback is nearly always without a negative and this is due to ......negative feedbacks The serice is useful to both buyers and sellers and helps both sides get what they want without any hassle The only thing I can think about that might make the site look less useful than Ebay is the amount of members it has. It is the second biggest auction site in the UK but need more users . This will surely come soon though with a good reputation for security that cannot be matched by Ebay. Would recommend this site to anyone ... Read review
Advantages: Ebay Clone For Firearms Disadvantages: No Real Customer Support - No Buyer Protection - Generally Not User Friendly
Gunbroker.com absolutely sucks. As I see it there are five major issues with gunbroker.com. The first is the storage of your personal credit card information and the incredibly cumbersome process of terminating your own account and having that information removed from the gunbroker.com database. Second is the misclassification of merchandise within the various listing categories. To me there is just way too much junk and spam listings cluttering ......are not require to communicate that products being sold are used rather than new. If you do receive used items that were not identified you are out of luck as gunbroker.com washes its hands of the victim. Third is that there is no mechanism in place require a seller to sell or ship. I even had on instance of threatening a credit card chargeback and fraud report because a seller was paid, kept payment and failed to deliver. The amazing thing is that ... Read review

Advantages: None whatsoever. Disadvantages: Missing items from orders, but company refuses to refund
...Better Business Bureau has given BIDZ.com an 'F' rating. The BBB's report on this company states that "a number of complainants insist that the delivery packages arrived empty and did not contain their purchase. In other cases, purchasers said deliveries arrive with incorrect merchandise or fail to arrive at all." Please refer to the BBB's website report at: http://www.labbb.org/BBBWeb/Forms/Business/CompanyReportExtensionPage.aspx? CompanyID=13099007&sm= ......I had to fight with Bidz.com to retain these credits, however, so I'm happy that my bank stood behind me as a customer. Bidz.com will -never- stand behind you as a customer. Don't buy a thing from them. They are completely dishonest and they only want your money, whether they ship jewelry to you or not. ... Advantages: good customer service. inexpensive. Better than PayPal. Disadvantages: not available to sellers in all countries yet; no money orders.
the new bidpay is back and works well. I added it and seem to see more bids and higher sales prices. its nice to have a capable alternative to paypal. its cheaper too. bidpay doesn't do money orders any more though. we'll miss that, but its easier and faster to just have it settle to our bank account anyway. unless you're in the super high echelon of monthly sales its cheaper than paypal. we used their customer service - the prior reviewer hammered ...
