Advantages: Comfortable, swift car Disadvantages: thirsty when pushed, lack of refinements
...I recently aquired a 1995 Audi 80 2.6E 80 model, the car was purchased relatively cheaply and is a very nice car to drive.
The engine is very lively, but can be thristy when pushed. The interior of the car is fairly basic although is comfortable. The car lacks rear eletric windows and the interior finish although well built is a bit bland.
The only problems that i have encoutered with the car was general routine maintenance, such as replacing a cv joint and having the cam belt changed, the quotes from an audi dealer were a fortune so i had the work carried out by an audi specialist for a considerable saving.
In summary, i would recommend this car to any buyer, looking for a cheap but relatively well appointed car....

Advantages: with its fuel injection - it has to be perceived as a quick off the mark vehicle. Disadvantages: with its low drag inertia, it is advantagous to the driver during high speed swirves.
...Audi1002.8E
With its standard central locking, sunroof, power steering, and ample leg room this car comes top of my list for buys. It has the good storage space capability and with its robust interior and aerodynamic body shape, it has been designed with true dexterity.
Engine wise it has the capability and power of outperforming most cars in its league. The
existing variant has the enhanced capabilities of the previous model that ensure for improved fault detection and fault isolation. With its 2.8 litre engine this car gives is highly responsive and maneuverability that is unsurpassed in its class.
With its easy to maintain engine and transmission system, this car would suit any individual wishing to purchase a car in this class....

Advantages: Well built, solid, large, luxurious, good spec and cheap Disadvantages: 2.0 is sluggish
...I bought the 100 as a second car to my mk4 golf tdi, for occasional use (I like the old Audi's). I got it for £400 with 100K on the clock and FSH - it didn't run though but just needed a new ECU (£10 off eBay!). I decided on this car after visiting my local breakers yard and noticing that the B3 ('91 onwards) Audi100 was extremely well built and was, it seemed, a mk4 Passat underneath! It's great to drive - much better than all previous standard family Audi's - mainly due to its updated front suspension. ABS, side impact protection and the Procon Ten safety system (collapsing steering wheel) are standard - so it's a safe car. The level of comfort equipment is also good with lumbar seats and electric everything. The 2.0 isn't fast by any stretch of the imagination - you have to take it for what it is. The advantage of the 2...
