Complete confidence in this car Advantages: Its simplicity Disadvantages: Boot shape I chose a P reg Audi A4 earlier this year when I needed a suitable car for my sales rep job. Since March I have travelled over 20,000 miles taking overall mileage to 155,000 - and not had a single problem. Fuel consumption is excellent - 600 miles out of a tank costing approx £45-50 to fill (depending on diesel price obviously!). What really surprised me was how EASY it is to do things like change bulbs in both front and rear lights - even I could ... ...long distances - and oh - it can certainly shift when you put your foot down to get past those lorries too!!!! Audi A4 experience Advantages: Very spacious Disadvantages: Very slow when moving off. I had the 2007 automatic one. space is good. I hate the design of the dashboard. the car looks great, but I like a car that when I say go it should go. When I stop at a traffic light and then to go. The car slows instead of going faster. That is what I hate about it. The other thing the CD changer is in the pocket. How can you operate it while driving? I sold mine and bought a Lexus. I wish I could sit with these people to design a proper interior ... ...gadgets. there is space on the dash board for the cd changer. Sat nav is rubbish. The seat adjustment is rubbish for 2007 car. They should be far more advanced. It was hard for me to find a comfortable position. I like to be comfortable when driving. AUDI'D RICHADA RATE THE A4 2.0 TFSI S LINE? Advantages: Acceleration. Style. Build Quality. Disadvantages: Power Delivery. Driving Position. Price. Equipment. Soulless. Fuel Consumption. WHAT IS IT? The Audi A4, is a compact five seat (just) four door saloon car and a very well established competitor in the coveted “junior executive” segment, therefore competing with badge icons such as the BMW 3-Series and C-Class Mercedes. In terms of size and purpose, this is a segment of the market populated with an immensely diverse and eclectic choice of models from the Alfa 159, through the Ford Mondeo and Mazda 6 to the Volvo S60 and yet ... ...pricy?) and packing 211bhp, the Audi A4 2.0TFSi S Line, that I am reviewing here, is towards the top of a bewilderingly comprehensive range of models. Audi A4 1.8T S Line 2004 Advantages: Driveability, Good Looks. Disadvantages: Common Faults (But are not expensive to fix) Just upgraded to the Audi A4 1.8T S Line a few weeks ago from my Audi Cab 2.6 V6. I thought I was going to miss the power of the V6, how wrong i was!. The 1.8T with 190bhp is a quick machine and once the turbo kicks in you have hot hatch power in a saloon. These cars are ripe for tuning by way of ECU remapping, air filters, diverter valves and a number of other products which will increase BHP and torque. The S Line trim with the extra body deeper ... ...going over the top. On the interior the aluminum trimmings along with the half leather sports seat are classy and comfortable for long journeys. The suspension is stiff but solid on country road. Some things that go wrong in this model although these may have been rectified in the 2004 onward models are ignition coil failures, Mass airflow sensor can get dirty and blocked up, boost sensor. The Fast and the Economical Advantages: Great Look, Speedy, Great Fuel Consumption, Sporty Feel, Nice Interior Disadvantages: Colour Coded Bumpers aren't standard ...= 10/10 The audi company is extremly friendly and helped greatly when our door got rammed in, we got a courtesy car which was just as great and it didn't take very long to fix and replace the door at all. Security = 9/10 As with all audis the car has great security features including alarm, wheel lock, immobilitsation, tow away stoppers, and more. The car also features a great little thing that turns the sensitivity ... ...trigger alarms when they're in the vehicle. Looks = 10/10 This car has great modern styling which looks great, this includes stulish swept back headlights and fog lights and it also includes slightly flared wheel arches and great little details done with crome and other modern materials, the only problem is that the colour coded bumpers will cost you a bit more but they are worth the price for sure.
