    I have always liked Audi A3s and finally decided to go for it and buy one last March. I was initially looking at a brand new factory order but after finding out there was a 9 month lead time on factory orders, decided to look at the second hand market. I searched using the Audi website approved used vehicles facility and eventually found my ideal car at a nearby dealership. My Car Spec / My Background The car I chose was the Audi A3 3 door S Line 1.6 TDi. It is White with the black styling pack and black tinted rear windows.     I never thought I would write a review about a car but as time is passing by, I am getting braver and braver. I am no car expert, but think people sometimes want to read a real user’s opinion instead of just the professional jargon.     OK, it's been a long time since I've been on here to write up a review, but since I use Ciao a lot for finding out other peoples opinions I felt it only right to share mine. Particularly when it comes to you shelling out your hard earned reddies on something as expensive as a car.     I owned an Audi 1.6 Sport for a year back in 1998, and overall found it to be a good alternative to the other hatchbacks available. I was originally considering a VW Golf (essentially the same car under a different guise), but was swayed by the looks and slightly more responsive handling of the Audi. I must also confess to being slightly taken with the more prestigious image (sad, I know). I purchased the car from an Audi dealership (AFN Guildford) when it was 9 months old.     Advantages Advantages Stunning looks for a hatchback, superior build quality.

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Expensive to buy and maintain. High Insurance

    It is actually my Mum who owns the car. I have had my fair share of driving it though. The whole car is really easy on the eye. Interior build qulity is fantastic. Hard seats, and with the sport option, you get sports seats, leather gearnob and steering wheel, Electric sunroof, 15 inch alloys and diagnostic computer. Also it comes with lowered suspension. My mum does not do that many miles in it, which is just as well, as servicing is really rather expensive. We have had a couple of initial problems, ranging from problems with the immobiliser and the "lights on" reminder beeper. Both had to ... more
