I always liked the look of the Audi A3, but was always a little put off by the price tag, when compared to its rivals, (Golf etc). However after test driving the alfa 146, golf GTI, and the 306, I decided on giving the A3 a go. Boy was I pleased I did. The car, AŁ 1.8t sport had the whole kit on board, leather, air con. sunroof, computer, the lot! The best ride of all the sporty hatches is to be found on the A3, with its sports suspension giving a solid ride, and its 150bhp engine giving the car good pulling power you could never be anything but impressed with this peice of German engineering.
Only a few faults were to be found on the A3. Leg room in the rear is something to be desired, but only to be expected with a three door hatch. Leg room in the front however is a little more of a necassary requirement. On short journeys, not a problem. Long journeys however become a little painfull, what with your right leg being pinned up against the door for the entire journey. However if you are not 6'3 as I am you may not find this a problem!
On the positive side, I have enjoyed this car as much as I think I will enjoy any other car I will be driving. Good fun car with great looks and fantastic styling. I found the consumption to be ok for a 1.8t engine, at least better than I had originaly thought. Generaly a fantastic car.

Not bad intro, but info on what the car has to offer would have resulted in a higher rating. If you ever redo this op, please let me know and I'll reread it and review my rating :)
Advantages: Great build quality, lots of toys, pretty nippy and a name you can trust. Disadvantages: Fuel consumption, fault on stereo and uncomfortable on really long journeys.
