Yes the 1.6 is the most basic A4 - it may not be as nice to drive as the bigger engined models - but the car does have a lot of qualities - like a combined miles per gallon reading of about 35mpg - this is pretty good - for such a car. And it comes with climate control and alloy wheels. The Audi A4 has been revamped recently and the whole range has been given price deductions - although the Audi Badge is a sign of quailty - and so the price of a new car is still very high. I recommend all Audi A4's.
