Obviously, as an estate car there's tonnes of rooms for bags, etc. in the boot - especially with the back seats down. However, I couldn't help but be considerably underwhelmed by the car.
0-62 in 7.3 seconds is nice from stationary, but frankly the kick-down when moving is terrible. Driving smoothly is next to impossible as it kicks down too readily with only low ... ...down a gear comes too slowley when you really want to shift!
There is no doubt that it does shift, when (eventually) you're in the appropriate gear! This car only has 2500 revs on the clock when cruising at 80mph!
Space in the interior is actually terrible if you're not in the front. Headroom is limited and with 6ft people in the front there's next to zero leg-room in the back! Not what you'd expect from an estate! more

I was very disappointed by the brakes, as well ... I believe the quattro sorts this out.
Some may say I am over-critical of the automatic transmission, but modern cars should really be more responsive!
There's no doubt that this car would be excellent for motorway journeys where you're carrying a lot of luggage but not more than 2 passengers!
