I brought this car having had an A4 before hand so i knew the brand well enough, the A6 in my mind is a far better car than the A4 in all respects( which i suppose is to be expected as it is a step up the classes) i opted for the 2.8 as i wanted a car that would cruise on motorways but also give me enough power driving on normal roads aswell( overtaking and racing other cars i suppose!!) i brought it second hand from a gentleman off e-bay he had had it from new, it had a full service history and was in excellent condition, when i drove the car home after buying it it was as though i had had it from new, it is such an easy car to drive and with the bigger engine is also effortless to.
I've had the car for 8 months and am glad to say i have not had a single thing go wrong with it, it is performing just how i would expect it to, though ...

I have owned one of these cars for over a year now and every day it has been a pleasure to own. It may not be the most attractive car; but at the same time it is not unattractive to look at. It may also not have the greatest handling or ride qualities but these are not what the car is about. The whole purpose of being for this car is to transport large amounts of people and things, comfortably, safely, and reliably and it is in these areas where this car excels.
It is quite apparent from the outside that this is a big car, however, it is when you get in side that you really start to appreciate just how roomy it is. I am 6'5'' and I could quite comfortably sit behind myself with amble leg and headroom front and back. The boot is simply massive with a reasonably low lip.

. Fuel consumption isn't great but then who buys a twin turbo car expecting to get 40+ mpg, i get around 22-25mpg. If your looking to buy this car i would recommend the manual over the tiptrontic auto any day, it is a full 1 1/2 to 2 seconds quicker on the up take and when i rang for an insurnace quote it was £150 more for the Auto ( figure that one out) . All in all i like this car an awful lot, there may well be better cars of equal size and price like BMW and MERCEDES , but of the big German 3 for me every time its the Audi i go for. I won't give it an excellent rating as there are better Audi's out there of the same age(S4/RS4/RS6/A8) i'm aiming for an A8 but its a way of yet, but as an all rounder this is a very good car indeed, it'll keep you safe in most weather it'll take you anywhere with ease and comfort, its good for shopping ...
