Audi A6 2.7 BiTurbo Quattro Manual

Advantages: Safe Drive, Good Handling, Good Looks
Disadvantages: Fuel, Expensive Servicing

This is my 3rd audi now and is by far the best one yet, The 2.7 biturbo engine is great fun and coupled to audi's legendary Quattro 4 wheel drive is a safe bet. Don't get me wrong its not lightning quick but then i don't think its meant to be. Its nice knowing you hvave 250bhp on top for sticky moments but like i say its not a super quick saloon, It shares the enigine from the first of the s4/rs4 bahnstormers, so it means with some remapping of the ecu and other changes can be vastly uprated( i think the rs4 was 380bhp) ,the interior is a nice place to be it has leather seats which are very comfortable, and the driving position is very good also. having brought this car second hand i only had what came in the car, it has cruise control ( which i never use) all round electric windows, air con, 6 cd multi changer( Bose 6 speaker concert ...

Audi A3 1.8 T Quattro

Advantages: Great build quality, lots of toys, pretty nippy and a name you can trust.
Disadvantages: Fuel consumption, fault on stereo and uncomfortable on really long journeys.

with different road types (from motorway to twisty B roads) the average I got was around 25.8 mpg so it can become a little expensive! Also you need to watch out for a fault with the music system. When the car is cold the volume control does not work properly and is either extremely quiet or REALLY loud! This is a fault on all the systems but it does stop within about 20 minutes of driving the car. Overall, I would have to say the audi is a good car that I would definately reccomend to buy as long as your not doing long commutes in it! Very fun to drive and a beautiful cabin to sit in combined with the 4 wheel drive system and brilliant build quality you really can't go far wrong with this car. ...

Review of Audi A3 1.8 T Quattro

A 4x4 that stands out from the crowd

Advantages: Smooth, Safe, responsive, agile when offroad, handling is superb
Disadvantages: Expensive to run, and service.

or breaking down - this is definetly the car for you. The 2nd hand market lacks allroads unfortunately, so they tend to keep their value very well - at around 80,000 miles the allroad will require some expensive parts to keep it going - don't buy if it has 70,000 miles and has not has a timing belt change!! Ask to see a full demonstration on the ride height adjustment just to make sure it works (that can also be an expensive repair), which unfortunately is nessesary because it works with the suspension. A vibrating accelerator/brake pedals could indicate a broken fly wheel - this happened at 90,000 miles with me and costed £1000 to repair. As for repairing it - My best advice is not to use Audi Repair centre's, they overcharge for poor work. They do not point out problems that are in the process of becomming more and more expensive ...
