Advantages: Great build quality, lots of toys, pretty nippy and a name you can trust. Disadvantages: Fuel consumption, fault on stereo and uncomfortable on really long journeys.
with different road types (from motorway to twisty B roads) the average I got was around 25.8 mpg so it can become a little expensive!
Also you need to watch out for a fault with the music system. When the car is cold the volume control does not work properly and is either extremely quiet or REALLY loud! This is a fault on all the systems but it does stop within about 20 minutes of driving the car.
Overall, I would have to say the audi is a good car that I would definately reccomend to buy as long as your not doing long commutes in it! Very fun to drive and a beautiful cabin to sit in combined with the 4 wheel drive system and brilliant build quality you really can't go far wrong with this car. ...
Advantages: Looks good, handles well. Disadvantages: Back seats too small, common fault on dashpod.
Handling is excellent round corners. the suspension is firm giving it a sporty feel to the drive. The interior comfortable but back seats are no use to anyone older than 4yrs old!! Good-looking car, definate eye-catcher! Having just the front wheels driven saves 130kg over the similarly potent quattro derivative, and you can feel the difference in the comparative suppleness of the suspension and the well-tuned body movement over rough surfaces taken at speed. And in some instances it means you can carry more speed than in gutsier TTs. Progressive, convincing brakes and feelsome steering further bolster your confidence, and you end up driving it as you would a well-sorted hot hatch! Overall i would definately recommend this car to anyone who wants a eye-catching, good handling, comfortable car! ...

Advantages: Driveability, Good Looks. Disadvantages: Common Faults (But are not expensive to fix)
Just upgraded to the Audi A4 1.8T S Line a few weeks ago from my Audi Cab 2.6 V6. I thought I was going to miss the power of the V6, how wrong i was!. The 1.8T with 190bhp is a quick machine and once the turbo kicks in you have hot hatch power in a saloon.
These cars are ripe for tuning by way of ECU remapping, air filters, diverter valves and a number of other products which will increase BHP and torque.
The S Line trim with the extra body deeper grill, spoiler, wide arches make the car look sporty without going over the top. On the interior the aluminum trimmings along with the half leather sports seat are classy and comfortable for long journeys.
The suspension is stiff but solid on country road.
Some things that go wrong in this model although these may have been rectified in the 2004 onward models are ignition coil ...
