Despite the low price, it offers all standard features, i.e. remote access, announcing mode, up 15 minutes of digital recording and easy to use interface. It defintely offers better value then expensive BT answerphone which does the same thing but cost a lot more.
It is powered using a DC adapter which is connected to the main and a 9V battery which serves as backup power. It is realiable and has not failed me so far. The only disadvantage that I found was that it will not allowed high frequency sound (about 8khz) to be recorded. Therfore, I could include some classical music as part of my greetings !
