Breaking Dawn - spoken text Advantages: easy to listen to, great story Disadvantages: none ...heard, and very enjoyable. Breaking Dawn is the adult of the saga, being the final book it begins with the marriage of Bella and Edward, goes on to describe their honeymoon and the realization that Bella becomes pregnant. It then goes on to detail her transformation and the upcoming conflict between the Cullens and the 'royal' Volturi. Stephanie Mayer has written a masterpiece for teenage fiction and the audio books really do it justice. I enjoy ... ...sit next to a blinding bedside lamp, it's more relaxing and enjoyable. It's a little bit less distracting to because you can plug in your headphones and just listen away. The speaker describes the story in a steady rhythem being dramatic and effective in all the right places. Fab couldnt put the book down Advantages: Its a really funny book to read Disadvantages: Gives children ideas This for me is an all time favourite of mine. Roald Dahl captures the life of a young boy who gets stuck looking after his gramdma who is a witchy person and never does anything for herself apart from sit in her chair by the window all day ordering people around.she orders George aound so much till he is sick to the back teeth of her and plans to get some form of revenge on her, when she asks him to make her a cup of tea he goes into the kitchen ... ...goes around the house throwing all different hair products into it, paint, chemicals, pet food, u name it and hes got it in the pan. he then boils it all up and pours it into his grandmas medicine bottle and gives her her daily doesage....within seconds things start to happen that you would expect to happen. the story lone is fantasic and i love reading this book time and time again,the chracters are so well discribed. overall i would recommend this ... Perfect bedtime story book and truly captivating Advantages: fantastic storytelling from a true genious Roald Dahl Disadvantages: You have to turn the tapes over to keep listening ...magical amd loving tale of Danny and his father. The audio book consists of two tapes each with two sides and runs for approximately 2 3/4 hours which took me three weeks to listen to at bedtime. The book is read by Timothy West who has got the most amazing voice that brings the story to life. The tape also features music designed to dramatise the events. The times said of Roald Dahl 'the most inventive and origional childrens writer of our times.' ... ...the pheasants owner and thereforewhen Danny finds out instead of being disgusted in his father he hatches a cunning plan which involves sleeping pills in order to steal the pheasants and embarrass the keeper the day before his big shoot. bad girls reviewon charecters Advantages: A very, very good book if you read it youll want to read it allover agin Disadvantages: too many charecters Bad Girls by jacqueline Wilson is a really fun book to read.It is very funny and the pictures are wonderful. It tells the story of a 10 year old girl who is being bullied at school and one day shhe breacks her arm and here mum wants to do something about it.
