Denon Do Advantages: Sound quality Disadvantages: Price compared to lesser rivals ...for my bedroom I knew Denon were one of the best brands in the mini hifi system field so I felt very comfortable about choosing this one of a couple of similar Sony DAB Systems. I eventually chose this D-M37 from Denon after hearing a demo of it in my local hifi store. Here is my verdict on the system. The Unit If you know much about Hifi Equipment then you will instantly recognise the Denon style with this Unit as it is pretty much standard ... ...not. The Look Denon are known for their sound quality but also their look as you can spot a Denon easily from the shelf. This Denon is one of the nicest looking small systems and as you can get the system in either silver or piano black you can match the system to it's surroundings. I like the clear look of the display which simply tells you which input you are playing and the station if you are playing DAB. High quality sound and excellent features in a small unit Advantages: Compact, stylish, reasonably priced, DAB, Internet radio, Wireless media centre Disadvantages: Lack of an sound controls Synopsis The Denon S-52 is a compact, standalone audio system. It is one of the smaller systems that Denon offer but is packed with features which make it a cut above standard systems and I think make it an adaptable piece of technology. This review is based on 18 months of use in a home environment. Features Single CD Player Universal iPod dock (top mounted) FM/AM Radio DAB Radio Wireless/Wired network connections Internet radio streaming ... ...Then I cam across the Denon S-52. This shoe-box sized stereo packs an impressive array of features into an affordable system which as seen it used almost constantly. The Denon offers a high quality speaker system which adequately fills a room even on low volumes. THE DESIRABLE DISTINCTIVE DENON Advantages: State of the Art Sound Disadvantages: None that I know of Before I start regarding this system, a word of advice, really shop around, I personally saved over £100 by buying this over the internet compared with what the high street electrical stores were charging. I paid £327 for the DF-102 System and £68.99 for the SF102 speakers as seperates, instore the system sells for £499.99. The Hi-Fi comes in two systems, the CD Player (DCD-F102) and a AM/FM Stereo-DAB Receiver (DRA-F102 DAB), both units are silver, ... ...cover. A Remote Control is also supplied with this system (which takes 2 AAA batteries) as well as a DAB indoor antenna. Denon DM31's quality shines Advantages: Fantastic audio performance, small, stylish, durability Disadvantages: Lacks DAB tuner Denon have an excellant reputation of producing home entertainment components of an awesome standard. They have produced over the years some fantastic benchmark products, and the Denon DM30 is no exception. Voted as the best micro hifi for atleast three years, Denon DM30 is an excellant product. first rate compact stereo Advantages: durable, stylish, good value,excellent sound quality Disadvantages: none discovered in 3 years I bought my Denon DM30 new from an eBay trader 3 years ago and have used it either as a radio receiver, CD player or connected to my computer most days since. The beautifully compact mission speakers give out a very balanced sound and at 20 - 50 watts are loud enough for most domestic situations. The CD player is un-troubled by any discs that I ask it to play, even cheap CDRs and does not jump. The manual that came with it is extensive and I have ... ...that preceded it. In fact I like it so much that I bought a used one for my son and he has run it for the last year without problems (a good deal louder than me probably). These days it is refreshing to find a product that outlasts it's guarantee so well. ...
