Advantages: Very compact, nice speakers and tone
Disadvantages: Won't read a full MP3 or memory stick

Go this HIFi to replace my 20 year old £1000 Technics system, which had a broken amp. Hence the reason for wanting a reasonable wattage. Some of these systems are just 5 amps which I don't think wouldm be any good. Thought that I'd use the old speakers, but in fact the sound is better with the ones supplied, even though they are a fraction of the size. Various tone options for good sound and everything works and is reasonably intuitive. Copes fine ...
...aren't too many tracks on it as it seems to need to read in all the tracks every time it is switched on (It has never managed to read my creative Zen with 36 hrs of music on it, but is fine with 50 or 60 tracks). Fantastic unit

Advantages: Looks great with fantastic sound quality
Disadvantages: If you play a CD with tracks joined together it will pause between them

I bought the philips MCB 275 three weeks ago, and it has changed my listening experience for ever.This is my first DAB system and I did a lot of research before buying it. The Very DAB

Advantages: Inexpensive, decent output for a bedroom or smaller room, mp3 capability
Disadvantages: No good for a larger room due to the 5 watt output per speaker

Nice sound, nice price

Advantages: Good sound, nice looking machine
