Sony CMT-BX70DBi. Micro hifi review

Advantages: iPod dock, Digital tuner, Price
Disadvantages: Sound quality, features could be thought out better

I must admit I viewed it as a stop-gap purchase at the time but now, several months later, I have still not been tempted to replace it with a more expensive unit. Here is my review... Excellent little machine

Advantages: Still plays cassette and has DAB
Disadvantages: Short speaker cables

Needed a new machine and it had to have a cassette deck (as I still have a lot of homemade tapes from my youth!) and a DAB radio too so this was a perfect machine on paper and the price was excellent too! I read a lot of the reviews and was a little worried about the sound quality and the DAB signal. But the machine was for my kitchen and wasn't going to be my "state of the art machine." Great looking stereo and great value

Advantages: Got everything you need and looks and sounds great
Disadvantages: CD loading tray is a bit flimsy

I think the Sony CMT-EH25 is a perfect little stereo if you don't want to pay a fortune but you want it to look good and do what it says on the tin. So what does this little beauty have to offer. The Very DAB

Advantages: Inexpensive, decent output for a bedroom or smaller room, mp3 capability
Disadvantages: No good for a larger room due to the 5 watt output per speaker
