Advantages: Sound quality, 3D wing comfort, build quality. Disadvantages: Large for outside.. Could fall off if heavy headbanger
After looking up for the best headphones to use on my computer mainly to play the game Counter Strike: Source and reading many forums I decided on these.
Not only do these look great, but they offer THE BEST sound quality without using a external amp which can be expensive.
These are low impendence headphones and can be powered by almost anything including all MP3 players to the same volume as a standard in ear bud would allow.
The comfort of these things is great, they use AudioTechnica's 3D wing system which is amazing you can hardly feel these on your head. One problem is though if you like to move your head around a lot or you headbang to music they can become loose. But if you move the headphones back I've found that it stays on your head better almost to the point where it can't fall off.
I've got them on now ...
Advantages: Sound Quality, Noise-Cancelling, (Lack of - ) Weight, Nifty Design. Disadvantages: Occasional Mobile interference if you're not careful.
Wow. The only way I can describe using these headphones is to say that wearing them is like stepping into a very comfortable, almost entirely soundproof bubble, where you can sit back and relax in virtually any environment.
I purchased these headphones mainly for using on the train to and from work, but I've ended up using them almost every time I listen to music/watch a film. As I mentioned above, they are extremely comfortable. The build quality is fantastic, and the materials used for padding around the cans feel soft, but durable. One thing worth mentioning here is the weight, or rather lack of weight! I have happily worn these headphones for hours (literally) without them feeling uncomfortable or heavy. When folded they are virtually un-noticeable in a bag - I carry mine with me everywhere! In fact I'm wearing them at the moment ...
Advantages: Fairly cheap, integral volume control, good treble Disadvantages: Tinny bass, the leatherette surface of the ear pads tends to peel, not very stylish
are better looking and sounding headphones around. AudioTechnica make some fine examples, for a few more quid. ...
