These are very pricey considering the price of the ipod which comes with a docking station is only around £50 I wouldn’t recommend buying the original Ipod shuffle docking station but shop around for a cheaper more sturdier alternative ...

i don't think there are many things to say about this item. But anyway, this is really good item for ipod. ADvantages
1. it makes the ipod upright position to look better
2. While charging on its dock, it doens't touch any cold or hot surfaces so that your ipod doesn't freeze.

4.it supports nearly all the models of ipod, except ipod video.

I even tried contacting Philips direct - twice by e-mail (both of which advised me they couldnt help and I should ring xxxxxxx phone number for assistance) and twice by phone - to both of the numbers given. The phoned "support" calls firstly hadnt heard of the product, and secondly pretty much read to me what was on the box. I hope their support is better if I ever have a fault! So, in the end I decided to take the risk.....
It works brilliantly ... ...it says on the tin. I would have given a 5 star rating but for Philips appalling pre-sales customer service. Take note Philips and pull your socks up!
