I imediately went and bought this shampoo along with the conditioner as this works far better in my opinion than other specialised shampoos which do not smell pleasant and cost ... ...then liberally applied the conditioner and left it for 20 minutes. I then combed through with a nit comb - the nits literally fell out, before rinsing. I am almost certain he was clear after the first treatment but he has fairly long hair so I did this 3 days running to be sure. I then made him use it whenever he washed his hair for about a month as a precaution though this wasn't really neccessary. I used it on myself - just incase! and the other ... more

I am unsure what it is in the tea tree which works but I do know it does - and this is a cheap way to treat all the family after an outbreak. When my son was younger I used to make sure heis hair was washed in tea tree shampoo/conditioner at least twice a month to prevent infestation.

Review of Australian Tea Tree Organic Anti Dandruff Shampoo
This is a great overall product which allows you have great looking hair while getting rid of nasty nits and dandruf. I would reccomend this product to a friend as i was using it and it was great, this last me for a few weeks and therefore i bought another one straight away. Using this product will not bother you, as some other people have mentioned about the smell and other certain disadvantages you will not be unpleased. I am going to continue ... ...says on the tin. Not only that the smell leaves your hair feeling fresh with its minty and great smell, Therefore other smapoo's can not be compared with this as it does everything, leaves your hair looking great smelling great and getting rid of everything in which the user would not want. therefore it's an overall package indeed. ...
