wasn't really neccessary. I used it on myself - just incase! and the other half was made to as well.
I am unsure what it is in the teatree which works but I do know it does - and this is a cheap way to treat all the family after an outbreak. When my son was younger I used to make sure heis hair was washed in teatree shampoo/conditioner at least twice a month to prevent infestation.

Yes another over the top description of a product, that probably most of you haven’t even heard of! TeaTree Oil, otherwise known as Melaleuca Alternifolia, is an underrated marvel of today’s world. It’s a shrub native to Australia, which, for thousands of years, was made into poultices and suchlike, by the Aborigines, for the purposes of healing wounds and other skin conditions.
Nowadays however, you just pop to Superdrug, or QVC if you want a bargain in the old TeaTree Oil department. One 25ml bottle contains the equivalent of four, 18
month old TeaTrees, which have been processed by steam distillation to remove the essential oil.
Several companies manufacture TeaTree Oil, but I like Australian Bodycare best, as it is 100% pure Melaleuca Alternifolia, and they have huge ...

/ £1.29 in most shops like: Superdrug, Boots, Savers, Wilkinsons... and is a very dark green. When applied to the skin, it is incrediabley cool and refreshing. The smell doesn't really linger on your skin eventhough the smell is extremely strong, but it leaves you feeling fresh and revitalised.
3. Bath oil
- I have a plastic bottle of pure natural teatree oil into which I literally put about 6 drops into the bath whilst the water is still running. I have no idea how much it cost because I stumbled across it one day whilst sorting my soaps from lotions for body butters from showergels (as you can see, I enjoy my bath luxuries!).
I always use this when my body is aching, such as when I've carried a heavy rucksack back from college, sore back from yoga or genereal weariness from cycling. It's very strong smelling; you can smell it ...
