The writer of Bob Skinnner Books
Review of Quintin Jardine by parkfields44

Advantages: All about the man behind Bob Skinner.
Disadvantages: Lots of facts.

Quentin Jardine was bron in Motherville, Lanarkshire. He was educated both there and in Glasgow, where he later attended the university studying law. In his time he has been a journalist, goverment information officer, polictial spin-doctor. All these occupations must have provided him with a wealthy of background knowledge for his books. He lives in Gullane, East Lothian and has a home in L'Escala on the Costa Bravia, Spain. Readers will know these ...
...He became an author in 1986, he and his second wife Eileen (his first wife of 30 years having died of lung cancer in 1997) have an extended family of about four adult children. He suppors Motherwell football club, as does Bob Skinner. He has written 17 Bob Skinner books and 9 OZ Blackstone books. Robert Jordan
Review of Robert Jordan by l33t-krew

Advantages: Epic tales, detailed yet not boring, great characters and substained plots
Disadvantages: Not at the moment, though some might not like the style and small print

What a brilliant writer. To be honest there is not much to say :D I have just started in the past couple of weeks, to dig into his works. And my are they brilliant. They are extremely extertaining and engrossing and I can honestly say that he is now one of my favorite authors. Though he has been compared to Tolkien, I have to say that he is different. Not in a bad way at all. I personally feel that Tolkien was to detailed and due to his pickiness ...
...epics down. Not so with Jordan. The writing is to the point and most of all is extremely fun to read and his wheels of time books are the best :) The characters are likeable, with human flaws we can all relate to. Not only that but the plot never becomes thin and unpalatable. And thats 11 books. He keeps his books clean, with no explict sexual references and the violence is not horrificly gory, yet effortlessly conveys the combat and the different ... Read review

Penny Jordan
Review of Penny Jordan by gunga

Advantages: An perfected world of romance
Disadvantages: Sometimes scratches the service of far fetched

Penny Jordan is a fantastic author who specialises in writting romance and modern romance for the publisher Mills and Boon. From reading serveral of her book and owning serveral more i have not yet read i can tell that she likes to get the reader deeply involved in her books by mentally imagining images explicit to describe fully. Her books are for adults and i would not recommened any person under the mental age of around 18 to read these books ... Read review

A Legend Of A Man - The Most Famous Unknown Writer
Review of Richard Matheson by EVIT

Advantages: Read review
Disadvantages: none

If I say Richard Matheson, usually most people wouldn't recognize the name.... never heard of him, sorry pal (even in book stores!). If I say instead: The Twilight Zone, I Am Legend, The Incredible Shrinking Man, The Outer Limits, Spielberg's "Duel" etc... perhaps more people would agree they have at least heard of these tv and cinema productions. The man behind it all is Richard Matheson. As a matter of fact I have started to know Richard Matheson ...
...--------------------------The Man And His Stories-------------------------- Richard Matheson is known as American author and screenwriter, typically of fantasy, horror (terror is a better definition), or science fiction. His career started in the early 50's with the short story "Born of Man and Woman", the tale of a monstrous child chained in its parents' cellar, it was told in the first person as the creature's diary. This appeared in a Sci-fi ... Read review

A Cult Fiction Writer
Review of Chuck Palahniuk by maroli_gal

Advantages: His books are very engrossing
Disadvantages: Some of his novels are a bit far fetched

Chuck Palahniuk is my most favourite author.I got hooked on to his books after i read his" Fight Club".Then i read his other novels like "Stranger than fiction" and " Haunted ".I loved all his books. The next one on my list is " Lullaby " which i have heard is awesome, in fact quite scary!!! Some members of the media have labeled him as a "shock writer' because of the nature of his books and the subject he writes about, but thats what makes him different ...
...such as materialism and voilence!! Chuck Palahniuk is an immigrant American from Ukraine .He was a freelance journalist before he started writing novels. He became very well known after he wrote "Fightclub".It seems Palahniuk used to be a diesel mechanic for a Freight liner and wrote "Fight Club" as part of a "writing group" he attended with his friends. In most of his books, his characters are people who have got a raw deal out of life and this ... Read review
