The Blurb on the back is what first attracted me to this book. It reads:
Every minute of every day, a million things happen.
A butterfly flaps it's ... ...was feeling. Also I've read Meg Rosoff's first book and absolutely loved it to it seemed like this would be a good book for me.

Meg Cabot-brilliant author
Review of Meg Cabot by
baxter93
Advantages: great writing technique, gripping books
Disadvantages: hard to put down books!
I only know her for writing the fabulous teen girly books such as Princess Diaries and The Mediator series. I don't really know anything about her personally...but I plan to do some researching!
Of course she is a successful writer as you can see by her book, Princess Diaries, being made into a very successful film. It's more of a 'chick flick' but I'm pretty sure anyone would enjoy it.
As for her books-the first one I read, Teen Idol, belonged ... ...taken in by the eye-catching pink girly cover and was glued to the book 'til I finished.
I then went on to read several other books by her such as the Mediator books. I don't know what it is that makes her books so great...maybe it's her writing style which shows she really understands her audience and can write in a way they acknowledge or maybe it's the gripping story lines, brilliant characters and suprising twists.
I'm not going to ruin any ...

All about Malorie Blackmans
Review of Malorie Blackman by
DixieChick10
Advantages: Some info on the writer of Noughts & Crosses
Disadvantages: Bit borin
...after read many books, but Malorie Blackman changed that. My mate said she was reading Noughts & Crosses and loved it. So I went into the library and had all 4 books read within 2 weeks. She's still on Checkmate, lol.
If you like Romeo & Juliet you should like Noughts & Crosses, she never wanted it to seem like Romeo & Juliet but you do see the parallels between them as you read. She wanted to write a book on slavery, so she started Noughts & Crosses. ... ...Eye
Knife Edge
Checkmate
Malorie Blackman was asked to do a book for World Book Day, and that's where an eye for an eye came about. It's only about 30 pages long but I think it's still a good book. If you get Nought's & Crosses the newest edition it should have An Eye For An Eye in the back. My favourite book is Noughts & Crosses because I love reading about Callum & Sephy but the distance in Checkmate between Sephy and her teenager daughter Callie ...

martina cole
Review of Martina Cole by
tanya2105
Advantages: lots of books available
Disadvantages: none
martina cole. she was born in essex in 1958 and has written and released thirteen novels since 2006, two of her novels have been adapted for television and she has acheived more than 3 million sales worlwide.some of her books can be purchased on audio but i prefer to read them myself as i feel i can lose myself completely.
well what can i say she is a truely talented writer i started my relastionship with her by reading two women and i have to say ... ...book to escape to then martina cole is your lady almost all her books are based around a female who is just trying to survive like we all do, many of her books are based on the irish community living in london and as an irish girl myself i can relate to the fact that alot of the characters family values are shockingly true.
very real yet very gritty.
if you do choose to take on martina cole then i would highly reccomend starting with two women ...
