I was given my Autoglym luxury valet pack as a gift but I understand this normally retails at around the £35 price mark. It’s actually slightly cheaper to buy this lot in the gift pack than it would be to purchase all the items individually, so, although it looks like a lot of money, it’s actually more cost effective. Autoglym are a well known and reputable brand in car cleaning accessories and the items came all packed together in a plastic carrying case with zipper which goes right around the top of the case and keeps them all housed neatly together.

The picture on Ciao! Actually doesn’t do the kit justice. From the photo it looks like there are merely three cleaning items in the pack, and it doesn’t show all of the items or the carrying case. There’s actually a lot more to this kit than meets the eye. The set consists of 3 x 325ml bottles of car body polish, car shampoo and a glass cleaner / polish. As well as this though, the kit also contains four polishing cloths for the car, two Magic Tree Air Fresheners, a demister pad, microfibres cleaning towels and a drying towel. As you can see then, the kit is fairly extensive and the items are all excellent quality. That is why it’s so much cheaper to buy this lot as a pack, rather than as individual items.

In my opinion, this extensive and brilliant kit contains high quality items and everything you need to for cleaning and maintaining the quality finish of the newly cleaned car. Firstly, the car shampoo also contains a bodywork conditioner and it is a great product, which really helps at removing dirt and grime and basic traffic filth, especially when I’ve been out driving in wet weather. I’ve noticed that this shampoo not only cleans my car brilliantly, but it also offers a glossy water repellant barrier, which helps to prevent further dirt and filth clinging onto my car.

There is also a handy bottle of super resin polish in the kit and this gives a brilliant looking finish and polish to all colours of cars – including metallic finishes. The glass cleaner / polish in this kit is also second to none. I use this both inside and outside of the car and it gives a crystal clear finish to all the glass and windows every time and is fantastic for removing sticky finger marks.

The cloths in this kit are also high quality and the manufacturer hasn’t compromised on quality at all. It’s a great little kit and I was very pleased and happy to receive this as a gift.
