What constitutes literary enjoyment is very subjective and varies from person to person. Unlike Britain most of the German trains actually run on time and some folk may get enjoyment out of reading the German Railways timetable. Some males may get pleasure out of gazing at scantily dressed young ladies in the pages of Men's magazine and a lot of ladies may enjoy a good "sob" story in a popular Woman's magazine. Many of the members of this web site would no doubt like to curl up with a book of real literary merit.
Well the long established British publication, Autotrader,by no stretch of the imagination would claim to excite the literary senses. I guess knowing the price of a 1998 Nissan Micra in good condition in East Anglia is XXX pounds is not rivetting stuff for most of us. Equally being given information on MG TD's for sale in Derbyshire is not going to excite that many of us.
All this changes, however, if you want to sell your 1977 Ford Escort and buy the latest Mercedes C series- I will not ask about your sudden increase in wealth, let us just assume you won the National Lottery last week. Now for this reader Autotrader suddenly takes on a new meaning for this publication-a weekly with a cover price of 1.75 pounds-is an excellent site for details of new and used cars.
For the seller there are five advertisement slots ranging from the so called Economy with a simple 25 word description of his old banger, the Standard with a 40 word description, a Triple, a King and a Emperor'with ever increasing coverage and length of description.
For the buyer there are details of thousands of new and used cars, Estate cars, 4 WD vehicles, Commercial vehicles and there are also sections dealing with Accessories and Cherished Numberplates. They also have a bargain section-cars priced below 1,000 pounds and regional editions.
Autotrader is considered a very reliable publication and for buffs wishing to keep up-to-date has to be regarded as a splendid source of information. They even have their own web site at http://www.autotrader.uk. and this too is interesting with news and reviews,a good search function and details about buying and sellin.

Advantages: Well established, popular magazine for those buying & selling cars Disadvantages: Expensive to advertise in, used as LEAD FODDER by every canvasser in town
