The option of attending meets is there if you want it, including an annual event at the Vauxhall and Bedford Owners Club at Billing Aquadrome. This is the best event of it's kind I have ever been to, the autojumble is amazing. Most members camp there (at discounted rates of course) and enjoy enjoy swapping stories, advice, as well as Vauxhall parts. There are of course plenty of trade stands, as well as displays etc.
Some members just join and enjoy the trade club perks, and are never ever seen at meets or on the site, this is fine, it is their choice.
Either way, it is a must if you have ever wondered "How do I do this?" or "surely someone must be able to help me" In these days of sending text or pictures instantly via computer, it is like having your very own Vauxhall mechanic at your beck and call (only these lads have more knowledge)
This club is not for those who want to "mod" their cars with vastly overdone sound systems, ot even louder paint jobs, just enthusiasts. Have a look at their site sometime, http://www.autobahnstormers.co.uk/ and decide for yourself, or even ask me any questions you may have.
