Advantages accessible, accurate
Disadvantages sometimes news can be behind rivals.
Having missed just a handful of issues in the last 4 years a count myself as an experienced critic on car magazines. Suffering from a case of terminal petrol through the veins syndrome I enjoy AUTOCAR first of all for the simple fact that is comes out weekly. I need a regular fix of car info and this title provides this faultlessly.
All information in the mag is concise and accurate where needed (ie stats pages) but the actual articles are written with a passion for cars and motoring that clearly comes across to the reader.Regular features are roadtests where new cars are put through their paces, spy shots where all the latest scoops are previwed and new car news where all up to date info on special editions and prices are announced.
The mags website is also a useful tool for car lovers as it has a wide range of details and pictures of cars old and new. All the advise in the mag and on website is impartial and really gives the impression that the journalists are talented and commited. All in all I would class this magazine as the best motoring magaziner in the UK.
