Advantages Cheap, good service, never had a problem
Disadvantages none as of yet
I have had 10 years of service with Autonational, have been lucky to only have had to call out twice, both times very quick and great service (they contract out to local garage/rescue companies and they have been very good, fast, polite, in fact the wife called them out the once and she thinks they are fantastic, both the emergency callout line and the technician who fixed the motor).
If you dont claim in a year you get a great discount, price of the 'Full Rescue & Recovery/Home Package costing around half that it would with RAC/AA.
I would 100% recommend this company, basically it is an insurance policy, if you breakdown and claim you pay the full wack next year (which is still very reasonable compared with the larger organisations), if you dont claim you get a substantial discount. Brilliant.
As with other breakdown organisations there are different levels of cover from the very basic roadside fix to full recovery and home start, if your vehicle is over 10 years old you pay a larger premium, but not much more.
