i have this alarm fitted to my car and if you want to leave your windows open a bit you can with the alarm on all you have to do is push S1 on your key pad and the sensors are deactivated and the rest of your car is still protected especially if you fit the shock sensor as-well the only false alarms i have had is because of the shock sensor the vibration from lorries but you can turn it down a bit and it works fine you can also put the code in when it goes into the garage for a service so you don't have to give the garage your pin code and it lets you know it is still in the valet mode when you get it back from the garage as you take the key out of the ignition it will bleep once to let you know it still has to be activated again a very good system dose all i want it to do and if you lose the instructions and the fitting instructions you ...

and click 'get album artwork' - this did take a while... but worked! Whilst coverflow looks nice I don't think it adds extra functionality to the IPod... more a space draining quirk! It does look awesome though ;-)
Sound playback is the usual high standard - but this is really down to you, the user - I have all my imported (off CD) music set to apple loss-less. Which will take up more space, but with 160 GIGS to play with... it is not a great deal more! It must be said - the headphones supplied are useless... get some Sennheiser CX300 - the added clarity is noticeable - and you do not need it as loud! The hat trick is that the ear buds stay in my ear when I am working out.
Video playback; to test this I ripped Family Guy from dvd to IPod using the ImToo software package. Quality was good - but KILLS your battery! So not ideal ...

I do love this Ipod - it's fantastic for people like me who aren't very technically minded. It is easy to use, easy to carry and looks great too. However, I'm on my second one as my first one crashed so many times. Even the one I have now has been crashing a lot more than I think it should. eg. everytime I go to upload songs. Maybe I've just been unlucky? So my advice would be ALWAYS get insurance on this Ipod - just incase. I got my Ipod from PCworld and insurance is just £1.99 a month. So it's really comforting to know that if anything goes wrong with the pricey product I have cover. Also, it is so easy to scratch, if you buy one - purchase a protector case at the same time.
