Advantages: Durable, Easy to use Disadvantages: Speakerphone could be better
...I have used the Avaya 6408D+ at work for over 2 years and I have to say I am quite impressed with it. This is a digital phone designed to be used in a business environment. In order to function properly, it requires a digital circuit that is set up as part of a digital telephone system. In my company we have the AUDIX messaging system for voice mail and call transfers. This allows a user to set up their own voicemail greeting and also allows a personal login to receive messages.
The 6408D+ is a corded phone that includes a built-in 2-way speakerphone. Above the keypad are 6 function buttons:

Advantages: Lullaby's, Intercom Disadvantages: Battery life is not very good, night light feature also a little poor
...I brought the BT Digital Baby Monitor Plus about two years ago from Argos priced £69.79.
I have had other baby monitors in the past but this design is by far the best as it has many useful functions. It is quite pricey but you will not be disappointed once you have it, mine is on all day everyday.
The monitor comes as two separate unit’s the larger one is for the nursery ideally near the cot and the parent handset which I keep down stairs. Both are connected to the mains and the parent handset has re-chargeable batteries (2x AA supplied). The parent handset has a 50 metres indoor range and 300m range for when you are on the move around the house it comes complete with a belt clip to fasten it safely to your waist band. The area of range was essential for me when my little one was newborn. It meant I could keep an ear on him while I...

Advantages: Good speech clarity Disadvantages: No names in phone book
...After less than 2 months, my new Cable and Wireless digital telephone has developed a problem. I can no longer hear what callers are saying. This is most annoying, and I am beginning to think that digital cordless phones are not for me. I will be taking it back tomorrow to try and get a refund. Can anyone recommend an alternative?
As I explained in my original op, I purchased the Cable and Wireless CWD2700 phone in May as a replacement for a Philips Onis digital answerphone which started to develop problems. I had had this for only 2 years, so was reluctant to buy another digital phone, but was tempted by the compactness of the phone.
I was attracted to the Cable and Wireless phone because it had many useful features, and is a small, neat piece of equiptment. The telephone was very easy to set up, and comes with an easy...
