Avaya CMS Supervisor enables you to use a PC to access all the reporting and administrative power of Avaya CMS - with a familiar graphical user interface in a Microsoft Windows environment that runs on Windows NT 4.0, Windows 98, Windows 2000, Windows XP, or Windows ME. Avaya CMS Supervisor gives you the power to be immediately responsive - anytime, anywhere. Avaya CMS Supervisor enables you to monitor contact center performance and activity from a PC, whether it's within your contact center, at home, or on the road. Avaya CMS Supervisor has powerful tools that let managers monitor - in real time - any area of contact center performance, such as the number of abandoned calls, average hold time, and number of calls in queue. A colorful icon on the PC screen alerts managers whenever any thresholds are being approached or have been exceeded. Managers can then immediately respond by redirecting contact center resources to increase agent productivity and respond more effectively to the influx of incoming calls.

The software can be run under Windows 98/ME/2000/XP and is very easy to install. Once you've downloaded the installation file (which is quickly done; the file only has a size of 5.12MB) you can start the installation with a double click. After having accepted the licence agreement you just need to choose the path and that's it - the installation starts.

Now you know what the software is all about, but is it really easy to handle or do you need a university degree before being able to use it? No, you certainly don't.
Once you've started MediaMan, you see the start screen. It's separated into three parts and very clear and easy to understand. On the left there's a list called "your collection", providing...

...setting.
You may find that you want a more comprehensive CD burner or Image Viewer but to be honest, for the average person that will not be doing much in the way of editing, all that you need is there.
The PVR function I find invaluable and is also supplied with a great TV Viewer which is great for scheduling any programs you'd like to record. It pays to be choosey with the hard drive you use as some appear to be quieter than others for use in an HTPC, when using Media Center for this purpose the quality I managed to attain was quite good although could be better with a higher quality card than what I have currently been using.
Play back of DVD's and CD's is good through the system. The quality of both is obviously not up to quite the same standard as a standalone unit howver as an integrated solution it can't be faulted. The sound...

...called 'Holiday' under which are sub categories of 'People', 'Places', 'Events' and so on. You may even wish to divide 'People' down to 'Wife', 'kids' and 'others'. Once done, you can select all the photos that relate to each category and then drag and drop them on to the category name. Photos can be in as many categories as you wish. Once done you can then select a category and Media Pro will then only show thumbnails for the selection made.
If importing from PhotoShop, you can make use of Media Pro's support of the Adobe Extensible Metadata format. Media pro maps the XMP fields to its own fields making it much quicker building up information from compatible file types.
As well as the versatile and easy to use cataloguing and sorting features, Media Pro 2.5 also has a few other tricks. It can perform some basic image enhancements...
