This was one of the first colour-enhancing shampoos and is still probably the best. Aveda makes a whole range of shampoo to highlight various colours, and all are absolutely excellent quality. The really lovely thing about them is that they all use natural ingredients, and unlike some of the newer formulations, there's absolutely no chance of colour build up or hair damage. The Blue Malva neutralises yellow or brassy tones in blonde or grey hair - and it works. Like most of Aveda's stuff the smell is absolutely gorgeous too. If you want a stronger effect there's a conditioner to match (which I use fortnightly and leave on all night)

Advantages: Clean fresh smell, for un/natural Blondes and Greys everywhere Disadvantages: Not to be used every wash. You need to switch at least once a week to another shampoo pref from Aveda
