Advantages: Gentle plant essence based ingredients nourish and clean your hair gently but effectively Disadvantages: None

Some would say that Aveda products are expensive, but I disagree. If you buy the one litre pump size, it will last for months and months and as you need use just a little each time you shampoo, it works out to be very economical indeed. They also offer a smaller sized bottle too. Prices vary but as an average, expect to pay somewhere around £7.00 for 250ml and £20.00 for the one litre size.

Their camomile shampoo is intended for those of us with lighter shades of hair or highlights. It is a very pale yellow in colour and smells simply delightful (with a hint of coconut), and a little of this goes a very long way. It lathers up beautifully making it very economical to use and removes build ops of grease, hairspray, gel etc very effectively.
Not only does it give your hair a thorough cleaning, but also it nourishes it and adds moisture as well as adding a slight lightening effect. Blondes will find their hair colour to be more vibrant and alive, jaded highlights will have a new lease of life and fair hair will benefit too by being brighter and more vibrant. It basically adds a little extra colour without changing the look or feel of your hair, but bringing out and emphasising the best of your own natural highlights and lowlights.
It also produces wonderful shine and your hair will feel softer and silkier, often without the need to apply a conditioner afterwards. The active natural ingredients in this product include camomile, calendula, aloe, almond, cherry bark and coconut, all combine beautifully to give a wonderful but light fruity fragrance to your hair.

You’ll find Aveda products in top salons around the country, or you can purchase them via QVC’s shopping channel (expect to find them sold out more often than not, Aveda products are very popular here!) or from various sites on the web.
Aveda have their own website too which gives information on their company background plus a comprehensive list of all the products they offer and their ‘Aromaology’ background and philosophy. Check them out at www.aveda.com.
All in all, I really would recommend this shampoo for those of you with lighter shades of hair wanting to add some brightness and vitality. The natural ingredients care for your hair whilst giving it a gentle but effective clean and you may even be able to throw away your conditioner altogether!
Advantages: The smell Disadvantages: What it did to my poor hair
...absolutly glowing reviews of all Aveda products I decided I would splash out and buy some of this miracle worker. I went to www.lookfantastic.com where a fellow ciaoer had said the products were available. I also went to www.aveda.com to find out which shampoo would be best for me. I have dull blonde hair and so finally opted for the Camomile Shampoo which was desinged to brighten up blondes. Perfect. I couldn't wait for my shampoo to arrive and ... ...nice trail size pack of Aveda Rosemary and Mint shampoo which was rather nice. Hair-washing time came. I followed the instructions which are the same as any other shampoo. The shampoo smelt nice (not gorgeous, but nice) and lathered up a little better than other shampoos I've tried. The problem came when I was rinsing out. My hair was tangled and was kind of...tacky. Although my hair squeaked with cleanliness, it didn't feel clean! Well, I had to ...

Advantages: The smell is amazing, and the brighter colour result Disadvantages: Perhaps the price.
I first heard of Aveda hairproducts whilst watching QVC (the shopping channel). I always thought that they looked good, as they used natural ingredients and always sold out. However they were quite expensive so I thought maybe I'll get something again....
However whilst in America I was in a shopping mall in L.A (after walking along the walk of fame, and mingling with the stars! Lol.) I saw an Aveda shop which looked really nice, so I went in and ... ...~~~Anything else?~~~

Advantages: smells divine, hair shines, hair feels good Disadvantages: none
This shampoo has been a saviour to me.It was not recommended to me I saw it on a shopping channel on TV. I tried it with an open mind to find it a wonderful smelling shampoo. I suffer with greasy hair and this certainly has made my hair last longer between washes. It has also fetched out the blonde that was natural to my hair. I do not have brilliant blonde hair in fact you would call it "mousey". This shampoo makes my hair shine, It lasts such a ... ...time you wash it. I would recommend it to everyone. It comes in two sizes and I buy the one litre amount and it lasts for months. It does seem expensive at first sight but when you work out how much you would spend using ordinary shampoo you will find that you have saved money. The smell is divine and my hair feels divine afterwards. I am pleased that it does not have petro chemicals in it as well. You cannot lose when you use this shampoo. It is ...

My first experience with their products was when my Mother-in-law-to-be included a sample bottle of their Hydrating Lotion in my Christmas stocking one year. I was converted to this lurvely brand when I woke up 13 hours after first applying it and still had that super-soft feeling on my skin as if I has just come out of a mineral spa. Obviously with an experience this good with one product, I was left very well disposed towards the brand in general.

I first encountered Aveda hair products a few years ago when I could not work full time due to ill health and developed an addiction for QVC the shopping channel.
The nice thing about QVC is that they give you tons of information on the products. After an hour with Alison Young (the QVC beauty expert) it became obvious that my daughters and I had been depriving ourselves all these years. We must immediately try these products!
We waited for our first parcel with bated breath. We had ordered a trial pack of the Aveda Colour shampoos. There are five of them in the range. Blue Malva (supposed to be the business for grey or blonde hair),Camomile, which is also for blonde hair but gives slightly different tones, Clove , for brunettes, to give honey tones, Black malva which is for affro-carribbean hair or very dark hair and Madder Root ...
