Advantages: The smell is amazing, and the brighter colour result Disadvantages: Perhaps the price.
...by the delightful aroma. It's quite hard to explain, but it is so nice. It's a really natural smell, which is cleansing and relaxing without being overpowering. It comes out a very pale yellow colour (which is the camomile) and lathers up a treat.
~~~The Packaging~~~
The bottle I have is the 250ml size and comes in a nice beige bottle with a little yellow picture of a flower. It's quite classy but in my opinion could be a bit more modern.
What I also like about the packaging is the top. It's those ones you press down one side and the other side half opens, so you get no spillages.
...-infused technology rather than the ozone layer destroying CFC’s used in other canisters of the period.
My first experience with their products was when my Mother-in-law-to-be included a sample bottle of their Hydrating Lotion in my Christmas stocking one year. I was converted to this lurvely brand when I woke up 13 hours after first applying it and still had that super-soft feeling on my skin as if I has just come out of a mineral spa. Obviously with an experience this good with one product, I was left very well disposed towards the brand in general.
Advantages: natural ingredients, not tested on animals, smells fabulous Disadvantages: none
I find that they leave my hair feeling ‘dirty’ though, as if there is a layer of grease covering my hair. Not very nice!
I had seen Aveda on QVC (yes, OK, I admit it, I do watch QVC!) and thought how good the products looked. However, I had never ordered from QVC before and was not about to start (I didn’t want the postman knowing I watch QVC!), so instead I went to my local House of Fraser counter and bought my first Aveda product from there. My first product I bought was Elixir, a leave in conditioner.
Since the first time I used Elixir I have been an absolute...
