Disadvantages: use more than a pea size portion hair becomes stiff and fluffy

...My first attempt in using hang straight left my hair feeling sticky,stiff and fluffy. The next day a sprayed brilliant damage control sparingly all over my hair, then I used my straighteners resulting in better hair but not good enough. My second attempt was much better. I used the damage remedy shampoo and conditioner, (i did the first time too) They made my hair feel really soft. After towel drying I only needed a pea size amount of hang straight on my longish hair. Followed with a spray of brilliant damage control i blew dried my hair. After blow drying I used a rain drop size of smoothing fluid resulting with lovely shiny hair. I would advise to only to use a little of hang straight everytime. Dont over do it.... Read review

...This shampoo is great for fine fragile hair types.When your hair is fine it becomes more fly away and static even straight after brushing.As my hair is very long it makes this type of problem even worse as when it does happen it tangles immediately and I cant go brushing my hair every five minutes.This shampoo works to control the static which causes this with its natural ingredients to put you baclk in the driving force with your hair again. Which is what everyone wants.The smell is not as good as all the other shampoos in the aveda range, which are based more on herbs but then again it is not that artificial fruity and often chemical like fragrence of other shampoos. It has a mild formula with no harsh chemicals which bits a bit extra into fine and fragile hair to help rebuild it.... Read review

...Aveda this is a lovely shampoo.I first brought the rang from QVC and since then I have had it sent to me from America and got it in Florida and transported home, it is worth it.The Blue Malva is for Blonde hair but my whole family use it.It makes my hair feel nice and gives it a glow no other shampoo does.It does enhance your natural colour, though hard to believe it does.Your hair will smell fresh and the use of conditioners is not really needed as your hair is not stripped of natural oils. I have highlighted my hair and this shampoo is so gentle it still gives me bounce and control. You may think it a tad expensive but it lasts and you will get more washes than other shampoo's that are cheaper.... Read review
