Aveda Custom Control Gel Wax

Advantages: it works! smooths tamed hair,satin finish,repels moisture, LASTS AGES!!!
Disadvantages: none..limited AVEDA shops in some regions , though many hair salon stock it!

...I can’t remember how long I have been using hair gel to control my unruly locks. What I can remember is going to my local chemist (yes chemist!) and buying the first hair gel I laid my eyes on. After all, a gel is a gel isn’t it? Wrong! As it happened I purchased Brylcreem Extra Hold Gel, this sounded promising! I took it home, followed the instructions to the letter, and styled my hair. To my disappointment, after about an hour the gel seemed to cease holding and up until about a year ago I put up with this, that was until I heard about styling wax. Wax? Styling wax? What’s that? Keeping this thought in mind I sceptically went down to the same chemist and bought Brylcreem Strong Wax, despite my past experience with the company. Advantages: Works really well holds nicely!

...I really really like this product from the packaging to its effect! The gel/wax comes in a sparkly-ish blue pot (a bit small) and can be found almost everywhere! From Costcutter (hmmm) to well everywhere! Hahaha! Its really well priced, I've found it for £1.98 before. The product itself is bluey purple and glittery, but dont fear this doesnt show on your hair! Unless thats what your after! Its more gel than wax as its quite soft to the touch and feels silky in texture! Its thicker than gel but not hard like wax can be! A little is better than alot, and I'd recommend it to people with shorter hair it works really well on thick hair (as mine is) or thin. It styles effortlessly and you can remould.
