While I have had great results with almost all the Aveda products I used I have tp say this one was a miss for me. A 200ml bottle looks exactly as it does on the picture and costs about 13 pounds from a hairdresser. Ever since este lauder bought the Aveda label I have noticed the prices hiked up a little also can only be sold my aveda salons so I have since moved away from the brand generally.
my experience with the shampoo:
it is a clear shampoo with a light consistency and as it is quite concentrated you only need the smallest amount to get a lather going - although this does make you wonder what chemical's are put into the shampoo - does it really live up to its eco-friendly claims?? Now I have looked at the website and it costs on there $9.00 for 250ml, I?m not sure what that converts to but I have had a look around and you can buy it on www.hqhair.com for £8.00. I think this is very expensive for a shampoo especially as you can buy an Avon one for 99p! I know they may not be as good but what have Aveda put in theirs?. Little drops of gold?????
