Aveda Rosemary and Mint Shampoo

...Having read absolutly glowing reviews of all Aveda products I decided I would splash out and buy some of this miracle worker. I went to www.lookfantastic.com where a fellow ciaoer had said the products were available. I also went to www.aveda.com to find out which shampoo would be best for me. I have dull blonde hair and so finally opted for the Camomile Shampoo which was desinged to brighten up blondes. Perfect. I couldn't wait for my shampoo to arrive and I would have hair like TV adverts. And a couple of reviewers said they didn't even need to use a conditioner because their hair was so soft and shiny. ...Having been a fan of Aveda for quite some time using their Eco friendly specialist shampoos I recently tried their Rosemary and Mint Shampoo. In the past I have tried just about every "high Street" shampoo manufactured and found most of them to dry out my scalp making it flake and giving me a snowstorm problem, Aveda does not do this to me. I never buy shampoo from the normal manufacturers any more as I find they all contain mineral oils and petro chemicals. I purchase from House of Frazer as Aveda's retail network is somewhat limited to mainly beauty salons (usually expensive) and a few carefully selected retail outlets (usually less expensive than the salons) but the product is well worth the effort. Ingredients are all natural and products are available in different sizes from trial size up to 1 Ltr bottles so no need to waste... Read review

Advantages: Easy to use, Great texture, Nice smell, NO build-up

...If any of you out there are reading this have read any of my other opinions on Aveda Products, you will have gathered by now that I LIKE AVEDA. I use Rosemary and Mint conditioner as my everyday conditioner. I have pretty good hair condition most of the time. I find that this water based conditioner from Aveda a real essential. It does not leave my hair heavy or fly away it just leaves it feeling naturally soft and smooth. I use Rosemary and mint conditioner after every wash regardlesss of which Aveda shampoo I am using from the range, alternating with a colour treatment conditioner about once a week. If you have very dry hair however you may need to use one of the other conditioners from the range. The Rosemary and Mint is lightest of all the conditioners in the Aveda range.
