Advantages: Cleans and conditions hair fantastically. Smells gorgeous. Made from natural ingredients. Disadvantages: Slightly more pricey than some other brands (but worth it)
After years of searching for a product which would properly clean my very oily hair I was recommended this product by my local Aveda retailer. It is fantastic! After just one wash three people commented on how shiny my hair was and I have had nothing but compliments ever since! After using this product in combination with the Scalp Benefits Conditioner for over a year my hair is in great condition even though I blow dry and straighten (using super hot GHD straighteners) every day! And where I was having to wash my hair every morning it now lasts a couple of days before it needs to be washed again. The product is all natural and has a gorgeous dandilion and burdock smell. Well done Aveda for this wonderful product! ...
Advantages: Soft cared-for hair, itch free scalp! Disadvantages: The price! The price! The price! Limited stockists, having to buy online...
AvedaScalp Benefits Balancing Shampoo
How I found out about the product?
I brought this shampoo after reading a glowing review of it here on Ciao. I was looking for a shampoo, which would care for my hair AND my scalp. Advantages: Suits my skin very well. Lovely to use. Disadvantages: Price!
bouquet of thanks to the lovely Aveda consultant at House of Fraser in Birmingham. If only all beauty consultants were like her. She listened to what I wanted, she was relaxed and approachable, I felt comfortable talking to her and she was clearly knowledgable about the Aveda range, without being at all pushy. I had a free cup of Aveda's own brand of herbal tea while I was browsing and trying out all the different scents and potions. As a result of feeling so at home among the fascinating shelves of Aveda I did spend money and left happy.
About Aveda
A generous friend bought me a body mist from Aveda as a present a few months ago and I totally loved it. I blame her for the fact that I am now obsessed by all things Aveda. Why couldn't I become obsessed with something cheap? I should be a rich person! Why is no-one in ...
