As a long time fan of Shampure I was eagerly awaiting the launch of the matching conditioner in this country. To much fanfare and Press launches there it was - and what an enormous disappointment it turned out to be. The first thing that struck me was that it just didn't smell like Shampure. That scent, that many consider to be the Aveda signature, just wasn't there at all. Not that this smells bad, as such. It just doesn't smell of Shampure. In fact, it doesn't smell especially strongly of anything, which is not what I've come to expect, or like, from this company at all. The products conditioning benefits are so-so. It's supposed to be a half-way house between Rosemary and Mint and Curessence. But it really didn't seem much more conditioning than the former with none of the benefits of the latter. Advantages: no petro chemicals. only use a tiny bit. nade from plant extracts.leaves hair feeling wonderful everytime Disadvantages: limited availability. price
