Avent Bottle & Teat Brush

The Avent Bottle Brush was something I used in order to help maintain the cleanliness of my sons bottles. Before going into the electric steam steriliser, it is recommended that the bottle and the bottle teat is throughly washed in soaped water to remove any milk residue - and because the fat in milk sticks to the bottles plastic, it is necessary to have a brush to scrubbed the sides to remove this fat. When setting up with all of our baby bits and bobs from new the Avent Bottle Brush was included with one or other of the sets that we bought. The price for one of these to be bought individually is usually around the £4 - £5 mark and for this price you would really expect a little bit extra than a cheaper basic bottle brushes which can be purchased from £1 - £2. The handle of the brush as pictured is made from solid blue plastic which is ergonomically shaped allowing the appropriate pressure to get a bottle cleaned well with no trace of milk left on the sides.
