It is everything that a mother needs to express milk in work except for the room with 'do not disturb' on the door and the private fridge to store her milk in, but how many of us get that? When I think now of all the staring at the back of the toilet door that I did whilst 'pump, pump, pump, pump, ahhhhh letdown' ;)
I bought the back to work kit (counts on fingers....runs out of fingers) about a year and a half ago.

The cost was about £40 in Mothercare and we have really gotten value for money out of it. The two bottles were used for formula feeding occasionally to give me a rest. My husband has extended the life of the insulated bag by buying larger freezer packs and using the bag to carry about milk, food, fruit, yogurts and juice on days out.
The only problem I have with this is replacement parts for the Advent Isis are very expensive. I needed a small plastic replacement for an inner-connector which finally just broke after a year of use and abuse, the replacement part was £7 and the postage was £8. This was from the Advent website, there do not seem to be a lot of maternity shops who carry breast-pump spare parts.
Pperhaps the Advent is not really the best thing for extended breast-feeding. However my son is 15 months old now and I am going to wean him from breastmilk over the next month.
With the next baby, I shall probably go for something a bit more durable like a hospital standard electric pump.
However as regards versatility and value for money, we cannot fault the insulated bag.
Advantages: You'd never know it was a breastpump in there! Disadvantages: Lining of bag catches in zip very occasionally
...the kit you get an Avent ISIS breast pump (see separate review), two 9oz bottles, two 4oz bottles, four pairs of disposable breast pads (though I recommend the washable kind!), two sealing discs, two gel packs to keep the milk cool and a silver insulated drawstring bag. There are also two spare non-return valves and one plastic and silicone plunger thing (how technical!) for the breast pump.
I haven't actually gone back to work, so I haven't tested ... ...yet, but I have used it to transport milk to grandparents' houses so that they can try feeding their grandson!
I'd recommend this to anyone who was thinking of continuing to breastfeed whilst back at work, although the space in the bag is a little bit limited if you're at work for a long day and want to bring a lot of milk home!

Advantages: Gets really good results Disadvantages: Can squeak and creak a bit!
I bought an AventIsis breast pump as part of the BackToWorkKit (see separate review) but I think that it deserves a review all its own!
You can buy this pump separately from places such as Mothercare for £25. It comes as eight parts, including the covers to keep it sterile for travel and you can use it with the other thngs in the Avent range, not just the bottles (it works with the Via Cup and Magic Cup), which makes it really flexible.
To clean, assemble and use the breast pump can be a bit fiddly, but with practice it's second nature. My son's five months old and I've been expressing every morning for the last month, so I'm a bit of a pro at assembling it now!
The eight parts of the pump are:
- Funnel cover
- Let-down massage cushion
- Pump cover
- Silicone diaphragm and stem
- Handle
- Pump body and funnel ...
