I bought a box of these containers when I started expressing milk for my son. I looked at the bags but thought these would suit me better. I think they cost me about £3.99 from Mothercare.
They come in a box of ten and are pre- sterilized. The pots are clear plastic and have a light blue screw on lid. They can hold up to 6ozs of milk and on the side of the container is the little lines which show you how much is in there. They can be re-used although on the side of the box it recommends to throw them away if they are showing signs of wear and tear but I've never had to throw mine away and I've used them a lot.

I found this very useful because on a few occasions I have poured some milk into an actual bottle and spilt aload of it everywhere.
I also used them as weaning pots when my son got older. When he was eating a good sized portion they were a great size. Beware though because things like carrot and peppers stain the plastic. I also carry chopped up cucumber and tomato and things like that in them so they are very useful.
The pots are stackable which I found ideal because I could pile them up in the bottom drawer of my freezer and it would make good use of the space. They are also easy to label as the lids are quite big so you can get a good amount of sticky label on it. I did have some littler pots which I had to use a code on and did get muddled a few times.
On a few occasions I have had a problem lining up the lids and they have leaked. I think because the plastic is very flexible I sometimes squeeze too hard with my hand and it doesn't connect properly. It's the same with opening them. I'm squeezing the plastic whilst trying to turn the lid and in this process I'm bending the plastic out of shape which makes it resist turning.

Advantages: You can either Dispose or Re-Use Disadvantages: These should have been bought out earlier
This is baby number 3 and gosh I wish they had bought out these containters 4yrs ago when I had my first.
I am unable to quote a price as I had this item as a present whilst pregnant, but I do know that it was bought from Mothercare.
Avent is a very good name that I trust and they have definately not let me down again.
The cups come sterile packed (well they did in the AventIsis Naturally BreastPump with VIA Storage / Feeding System that was a gift to me).
You can use the cups with the AventIsisbreastpump, making it sooooo much easier to use as all you do is connect the pump to the cup and then pump away.
When you have finished expressing the milk you can either attach a teat connection (this came with my pack) to feed baby or just put the lid on and store it away in the fridge/freezer.
The main benefit that I have ...
Advantages: Fast, easy to use, convenient, cheap, provides piece of mind !! Disadvantages: Steam burns - lesson learned !
are sterile and germ-free. The Avent Steriliser is very simple to use and requires just 4 minutes in a microwave. It couldn't be easier to sterilise your baby's equipment.
Where did I get it and for how much?
I purchased mine from Mothercare and it cost me a mere £19.99 which I can only say is excellent value for money 1, for what you get 2, for how much you will use it and 3, for the piece of mind that your baby is safe from germs and bacteria.
I know that they are also available at all leading supermarkets that have a Mother and Baby section such as Tesco and Asda, for the same price and all Mother and Baby specialists.
What does it come with?
