I find that Avent Soothing Magic Cream is not that widely available. I have to travel to my "Local" Tesco Supermarket to buy it.
Price is £4.99 at Tesco for a 125ml tube, which admittedly is quite pricey, but you do not have to use too much at one time, and I find a tube lasts me 2 or 3 weeks, so, not too bad.

Like all babies, my 16-month-old Daughter Georgia has very delicate skin. I have always tried to find products that will be soft and gentle on her skin, and this product is the most magic by far.
Avent is a name brand that I trust totally. I use Avent Teats for Georgia's bottles, Avent Magic Cups for her breakers to drink from, and Avent Magic Cream to soothe her skin when it becomes red from nappy rash, or from when she is weeing strongly due to teething.
I have so many good things to say about this cream, it's hard to know where to start really.
It can be used to help remove dry patches of skin, it helps to moisturise, and best of all, nips nappy-rash in the bud.
When Georgia first started teething at four months of age, she used to get really sore. I tried various lotions and potions on her bottom, but to no avail. Then, my Sister, who has three children, suggested this product. I thought she was joking when she said it was called "Magic" Cream.
It sounds too good to be true, but as soon as I got the product home, and put it on Georgia Grace's bottom, after that first application, the nappy rash was drmatically lessened. After a second application, the rash was barely visible. After the third application, the rash was gone !!
I do use it on Georgia most days, especially when she is teething. I once tried a shops own-brand of nappy, and it made Georgia so sore, I went straight for the Magic Cream, and after only 2 applications, the soreness was gone.
It is hypoallergenic, which means it has a decreased tendancy to produce an allergic reaction. It has Shea Butter in it, which helps to moisturise. Allantoin, which calms and helps to heal any irritation, and Calendula and Camomile to help soothe.
It is Ph balanced, and it is NOT tested on animals, which is good for me to know. It has a slight fragrance, which is very pleasant. It is non-greasy too, good for the washing !
It absorbs into the skin very rapidly too.
The tube is white, with a yellow cap on the bottom. It stands on the cap, and there is a picture of a teddy-bear on the front, wrapped in a towel. The words "Avent Naturally" are emblazoned across the front, under the picture. The word "Soothing" is written in bright yellow, and then "Magic Cream" in blue. It catches the eye on the shelf too.
The cream is white, with the lovely slight fragrance I mentioned previously.
I personally use it on myself, as I suffer from dry patches of skin on my face when the weather gets too cold. I feel totally moisturised when I use it.

I would give this product 10 stars out of 5 (I find it THAT good) if I could, but the maximum is 5 stars, so that is the award.
Advantages: Non-greasy and it works Disadvantages: Smaller size tube would be handy for travel
...you make a decision.
Avent Soothing Magic Cream - is it just part of the name or is it really 'Magic'? Following a friendly recommendation I thought I should give it a go. I have purchased other Avent products in the past such as feeding bottles, teats and a steriliser. So Avent was becoming a trusted brand in our home.
The cream is described as 'The all-in-1 solution to your baby's daily skincare needs'. It can be applied to the face and the body ... ...weeks old I have used Avent Soothing Magic Cream on his face twice daily. He certainly has extremely soft skin. I also use it on grazes and scratches as well, which seem to disappear following a few applications. My little boy does tend to scratch his face quite a lot (due to rapidly growing finger nails). Dependant upon the size of the scratch a couple of applications is all that is required to stop him looking like a scratching pole.
I have also ...
