Kai is becoming more and more demanding and his current refusal to eat food means that it seems like he is nursing non stop. Do you know how much milk an almost fifteen month old child gets through? Nipple cream, in my opinion is essential for any one who is pregnant or has a baby. I didn't suffer too badly with sore or dry nipples during my pregnancy, but weirdly enough they were really itchy, which is why I bought this. Since breastfeeding I've had a very stubborn recurring nipple infection as well as dry, cracked, sore nipples in general (sorry for the TMI!), to the point where if I wear a bra or top that's too tight which rubs against my boobs I'm in agony! I loved breast feeding my daughter, it was the directness of the contact and the close bond that it helps to develop but I did not enjoy the side effects of cracked and sore nipples that I suffered from as a result of breast feeding. Whilst dealing with horribly cracked nipples, I wanted a good cream to help with the pain. That said, it was important for me to purchase a brand name that I trusted. I had tried other brands (i.e. supermarket and value brands) in the past with my first child, and although they worked, it took a lot longer to reach the desired result.
