....msico.co.uk) for 55 pounds plus delivery. It was actually an end of line item the 400 series has replaced the 300.
Companies like Avery Make laser labels which are sheets of labels you can feed through an ordinary printer. Averylabels work but personally I prefer the convince of having a single device for the job. Also when I used averylabels I found I ended up wasting loads when I left sheets in the printer or forgot to change the label to print onto.
Printing speed and quality is great the label is there a few seconds after clicking print. Even on big runs it seems to cope well, newer and turbo models are faster.
Labels work out about 3 pence each which seems reasonable enough, ive gone through several packs of labels without having to change the ink so it seems to be pretty cost effective. Be sure to shop around for supplies they vary greatly...

Advantages: Reasonable Price, Easy to Apply, Add your own personal touch! Disadvantages: None
...Instead of lending out CD’s and DVD’s to friends, I do a copy for them and let them keep it (you know how hard it is trying to get things back)! I then came across these Avery Full Face CD/DVD Labels, which have definitely helped to brighten them up and add a more personal touch to them!
I purchased them at my local WH Smith and the printer I use is a HP Colour Laserjet 3500 and they look absolutely stunning when printed on this!

Advantages: Cheap, easy to use, fast, can leave printer plugged in Disadvantages: Not as fast as an external hard drive
...A zip drive is an excellent and cost effective way to back up your files, or to keep sensitive files away from your main computer.
The zip 250 connects to the parallel port, and has itself got a parallel port, so that you can have both the zip drive and your printer connected at the same time.
The price of the zip drive is about £100, but the disks are quite expensive, about £10 each for the 250mb ones, although the 100mb disks work on this drive as well.
Backups take about 3 minutes to do a 250mb disk, and the software makes it quite easy to do.
Don't risk losing all your files, floppies are very unreliable, and hard discs do crash. Think what you would lose if your pc broke, or was stolen.
I tend to back up my personal folders avery week, and rotate between 3 discs, so that I always have archived backups in case something goes...
