The packaging that the tube comes in is a two tones of green/blue colour, as all products in this Avon range. Contained within the box is an instruction leaflet. Shane ignores it and ... ...to loose.
“Louise! Do you have any peel off face masks that I can use?” Shouted Shane one Sunday morning whilst lying in the bath. “ I got some black head on the side of my nose”.
Well when your man asks like that there is only one thing to do….. Ignore him!

Shane ignores it and just used the mask like any other! The liquid mask appears blue in the tube when the lid is opened the liquid mask is actually clear.
**How to Use**
1) The correct way to apply the mask is to cleanse the skin first with a gentle cleanser.
2) Apply a thin layer of the mask to the skin avoiding the sensitive areas of the eyes and the mouth.
3) Leave to dry for ten minutes. (It may take a little longer in a steamy bathroom!)
4) When dry, peel off the skin gently. Many impurities in the pores of the skin will be removed at this time.
5) Wash the skin with warm water and then pat dry with a warm towel.
6) Apply a good moisturiser such as Luminosity Brightening Complex SPF15 (daytime) or RetroActive Cream (nighttimes).
This mask can be used as often as required to cleanse the face.
**What did Shane experience**
Well, when the mask dried the face felt very tight and he had a tingling sensation on the skin. On removing the mask it fell to pieces in his hands. (I think his fingers were damp).
His skin however was soft and supple. “It felt like the skin had been exfoliated!” The blackheads were diminished but not all gone.

...down and look through the Avon catalogue for something to pamper myself with. Suddenly I saw it Avon Anew Alpha peel-off mask. I’m not sure if it was on special offer but it was priced at £3.75 (for 100ml) and the thought of refreshing my face after having peanut butter, nectarine, dribble and yoghurt spread over my face during the course of the day, courtesy of my son’s fingers, seemed liked a fantastic idea.

Advantages: Smooth skin Disadvantages: Smell, not getting it all off in one go
...haven’t done an op on Avon for a while – How slack of me!!! And for once I am not going overboard on a product. I have been using Anew Alpha Peel off mask once a week for 5 weeks now. And after 5 applications I still can’t get the bugger off in one piece. Am I doing it so wrong or is it just not that good at being a peel off mask?
Directions for use:
- Apply a thin layer to clean skin avoiding eye area.
- As the mask dries you may experience a ... ...days.

Avon say that the mask contains an optimum concentration of Multi-acid Complex which helps to restore vitality to dry, dull looking skin. God knows I want that to happen. Advantages: shrinks large pores, revitalises Disadvantages: bit pricey, no good for my sensitive skin
...I've noticed "Our Wulise" testing Avon products on poor Shane, so I decided that the products which weren't any good for my skin had to be tested on my poor husband, hee hee.
I have sensitive skin so have to be careful what I put on my face, please don't shout "A bag would be nice, David".
So because I wanted to know what the Anew Alpha Peel off Mask did, I shoved my husband into the beauty chair and strapped him down before he could get away.
... ...cleansed his face with some Avon Cleanser (of course) and then added some toner to some cotton wool to get rid of excess oil. My husband does have rather large pores around his nose and is prone to blackheads, so I though this product would benefit him and me in my sales. I could always take him round with me on my deliveries and say "Look what I made Earlier".
I then applied the gel like substance to his face spreading it all over , even his forehead ...

...of the more expensive ranges Avon sell, definately not something I would normally buy. £7 for 100ml. I'm too tight to spend this on a face mask I will only use once in a while, but hey like I said it cost me nothing so here goes.
Directions for use:
- Apply a thin layer to freshly washed skin.
- Leave for 10 - 15 mins until the skin tightens and feels tingly.
- Peel off in a downward motion and then rinse with cold water.
What it does:
The ... ...we all know and love as wrinkles.
It also supposedly tones your skin.
Packaging:
A nice two toned green box, tall and thin. The bottle itself being a squeezy one, again in two toned green. A gold line travels the rim of the bottle giving it the oh so classy look. (That's why it costs so much you see).
What I thought:
The mask went on well enough, not too sticky. I sat down for 15 mins, feeling like a complete lemon with an alice band in my hair ...
