The Packaging:
The same as on the photo! It's plastic, see through with a gold screw on lid and a sponge angle applicator ... ...the lettering off all my Avon rubs off. On the compacts and eyeshadow cases they scratch easily and it's a real bug bear of mine!
On To The Product:
Well as I've said the writing has come off my eyeshadow so I can't tell you the colour which is a pity cos I would order it again and again. It's a taupe colour. It's damp in the tube and saturates the applicator but it's no way wet or dry but is a thick consistency but ... more

The Packaging:
The same as on the photo! It's plastic, see through with a gold screw on lid and a sponge angle applicator inside and has gold writing on it saying who it is by and what it is. The applicator is a regular sponge one and it's a decent size and well shaped.
The Problems:
I'm going to address this first as to me it's important. I have an issue with Avon. They never explain anything either in the book or on the website or on the packaging itself. So for an example of this, this product is triple benefit? What is the triple benefit?
Also the other issue is with a lot of the cosmetic packaging from Avon. I look after my products. Yet the lettering off all my Avon rubs off. On the compacts and eyeshadow cases they scratch easily and it's a real bug bear of mine!
On To The Product:
Well as I've said the writing has come off my eyeshadow so I can't tell you the colour which is a pity cos I would order it again and again. It's a taupe colour. It's damp in the tube and saturates the applicator but it's no way wet or dry but is a thick consistency but not clumpy or gooey. Mine is quite old now but it hasn't clumped or gone funny or anything it's as good as the day I purchased it.
Even though this is quite a light colour its incredibly shimmery (not glittery) and very deep. It's such a good consistency that even though as I said it is light its still incredibly noticeable. You colour in the skin on the eye you want covered and it stays there till you take it off with make up remover wipe or cleanser and toner, and it isn't stubborn it comes off easily. It's great as a stand alone eye shadow or as a base and to add powdered eyeshadow to it for a more intense look. It doesn't fade over time or slide off and what is great about this product is it kind of sets on the skin and you can wear it with a completely dry powder which means you don't have to buy two of these it really is a mix and match product. It's very smooth and though heavier feeling than a powder it uncomfortable.
I have sensitive eyes and this doesn't agitate them at all. Also I think this is great because at 34 I have a few small lines on my eye and even though this is a shimmery product it doesn't highlight imperfections. With some products of this nature you'd never tell a more mature lady to give them a go cos of the gloss effect but I really believe anyone could use this and see the benefits of this product!
Its very nice indeed and has the same effect (if not better) of some of the more expensive brands that offer the same effects.
I'm not sure how much I paid for it, I think I bought it for about £5.00 but do look out for offers! Highly recommended!

...make up bits from the Avon catalogue. Prior to that the Avon catalogue had always been something I used to browse through admiring the lovely items they have for sale but never justifying spending the money and so not ordering anything.
If stranded on a desert island my make-up red cross would consist of eyeshadow, blush, eye pencil and definitely my eyelash curler as these are my basics to getting the day off to a good start.
Having mousy brown ... ...looking compact trio set from Avon which comes in a dark blue case with a gold trim and a push button for ease of opening. This contains on one side a blusher and opposite two smaller sections of eyeshadow - beige on top and dark brown on the bottom. Also on the inside of the lid is a mirror making it handy to pop in your handbag.
I cannot remember the exact price but I think it was roughly £5-7 which may seem expensive (as I thought too when ordering) ...
