Many women wear it simply because it has such a pleasant smelling fragrance and is also just great value for money, (well aren’t all Avon fragrances value for money?) I was drawn to it initially because it was on special offer but now I like it just because of the aroma.
For me, I find Celebre has an uplifting aroma that combines a blend of flowers, waterfruits and woody notes giving it staying power on the skin. It is a positive smell, providing an air of confidence. I love the fragrance and use it daily at present as it reminds me of the countryside on a spring day just as the dew is drying on the grass. Okay so I am a romantic at heart!
This perfume comes in elegant long, teardrop shaped glass bottle with a golden push on lid. The bottle of Celebre scent is applied to the skin via the spray. This combined with the pale pink liquid gives a very feminine feel to any dressing table. It is extremely stylish and sophisticated. Why not take a look in the latest Avon catalogue at the bottle for yourself, what have you got to loose?

**Aroma**
The smell of Celebre is floral, yet also fruity too. It has a light and fresh aroma really. In a way it airs on the side of sweetness as apposed to spicy or fresh. There is a blend of waterfruits, flowers and woody notes, humm lovely. It is ideal for women aged between twenty to their late thirties in my view, I think, but you need to judge for yourself. (A representative will happily supple you with a sample, just ask). All in all it seems to be an uplifting smell.
To complete the overall Celebre effect, Avon has also produced a range of body products including a body spray £3.00, moisturising bath and shower gel £3.00, shimmering body powder £2.25, skin softer £3.00 and soap £3.00 per set. This range is price very reasonably priced too. They also come in colours reflecting the pale pink and gold of the perfume, providing a corporate image.
**Limited Edition Celebre Ice Eau de Toilette**
This is a new fragrance that was introduce by Avon to the British market in May 2003.
*Aroma*
Celebre Ice has a cooler aroma to that of its sister. It contains fresh cloves, neroli and peony blended with hints of white floral smells. The cool spices and fresh green notes give it a more radiance fragrance. It also currently comes with some beautiful real quartz earrings to help enhance your mood. It is believed that quartz can purify and energise the body along with this new aroma. It does take some getting use to after wearing Celebre.
The bottle is similar to that of Celebre but it has pale blue liquid and silver coloured top instead, emphasising its coolness.
*Cost* It is currently only available as a 50mls bottle, costing the same as Celebre £8.00.
If after reading this opinion, you want to try this product but are still not sure of the smell, ask your local Avon representative for a free sample of either perfume. If you do buy either of them and then find that you really do not like the smell, bare in mind that Avon provide a full money back refund, even if you have already used the perfume. I really do not think you will want return it once you try Celebre or Celebre Ice. It is a lovely smell and great value for money as one application lasts all day.
Advantages: Smells lovely, looks pretty, very cheap Disadvantages: Smell doesn's last very well
Celebre perfume was introduced by Avon in the 90’s and has been very popular ever since. It’s always available within the brochure and if you want to try it but don’t want to splash out on a large bottle until you’re sure you like it, ask your Avon Rep for a sample.
Celebre retails in Avon for £8.00 for a 50ml bottle, there are also other products available within the range, including,
Skin Softener - £3
Shimmering Body ... ...on offer in the newest Avon brochure. Everything in the range has one third off the normal price. Therefore the perfume is only £5.33!
There’s also a newish fragrance to the range which is called Celebre Ice, and it’s a lighter, fresher version of this perfume.
Celbre comes in a glass bottle, which is curved into what can only be described as teardrop shaped. The bottle has a pink tint to it, although I think this might just be the ...

Advantages: Cheap, smells nice Disadvantages: Ugly bottle and no staying power
...it with blunt scissors!
Avon is not my first choice for perfumes. I have Kenzo, Elizabeth Arden, FCUK, Christian Dior and Lancome, but I've always been very wary of Avon products. Are they not just cheap tat for bored housewives, bought with the housekeeping money? But still, despite my reservations, I thought I'd give Avon Celebre perfume a go because it was only eight quid and I wanted a change from my usual stuff!
The perfume came two weeks ... ...with flowers. The bottle itself didn't look much better! It's a rounded, pink-tinted glass bottle with a cheap plastic lid with a mock-gold band around it. It does look quite a cheap product and you can tell it isn't a brand name but hey, you can always keep it in your drawer!
The scent itself is surprisingly nice though. When you first spray it, all you can smell is alcohol but it quickly settles down. It's a very floral scent, but not in an old-lady ...

Advantages: It not only has a stylish bottle, but it has a stylish smell also Disadvantages: its a shame everything can't smell as nice as this fragrance
To many people smelling good is an essential! So to the many people who don't class good looks as an absolute essential, you must consider this fragrance to be one of them, as many people would agree tht you aint gotta look good, you gotta smell good!
This perfume has a sassy sexy look to it as the bottle is very curvy with a very nice clear pink colour to the bottle, also the bottle doesn't steal the show away from the fragrance which many products ... ...but with this products packaging it is simple enough to look nice on your makeup counter, but the fragrance lets you steal the show.
I would say that this fragrance is suitable for any time of day or night, because lets face it girls, you can't smell like a tramp in the day and wait to put your fave smellies on till the night, you've gotta smell good all of the time!
Usually with fragrances that smell really good, lets face it they aint cheap, ...

Celebre by Avon is a lovely sweet smelling range.
You can get perfume, talc, skin softener and shower gel in this range.
Celebre first appeared in the Avon books in the 1990's and has remained in their books ever since. It is very popular and has a lovely smell.

Wulise has said in her review of the Eau De Toilette (you should read it, its spot on), "For me, I find Celebre has an uplifting aroma that combines a blend of flowers, waterfruits and woody notes giving it staying power on the skin"
Sorry to quote her, but I have to agree and couldn't find a better way of saying it so I am giving her full credit for the description.
The Avon website describes the smell as fruity, floral. I would describe ...
Advantages: cheap and refreshing Disadvantages: none at all
Imperial Leather do a wide range of bath and shower products. This is one of my favourite items.
This is the one that I buy most often, as its "unisex" which means that my husband can use it as well, and not complain that he smells like a girl (as he did after using my AvonCelebre shower gel. Serves him right!).
Imperial Leather Energising Shower Gel and Shampoo is a nice bright blue colour and comes in a plastic bottle of 250ml for £1.48 from all good stores. The bottle can be recycled. Blue is also my favourite colour so it matches my bathroom.!
Another good reason for buying it is that its quite often on offer at Tescos - Buy one get one free. That is the reason that I first bought this product as it was so cheap. Once I realised how good it was I bought it all the time, but mainly stock up when its on offer.
It is ...

I love that feeling after a sunny day, I've had a shower, added some Aloe Vera gel and I feel glowing. The thing is , so does my nose, I always end up doing a great impression of Rudolph the Reindeer.
The gel is £5.00, but there is a great offer on in campaign 9 , where you can get three for £9.00. This is because Avon are celebrating 30 years of Suncare.
The size is 100ml only, it is quite a decent size though, and should last a whole fortnight's holiday if two people were using it.
It comes in a plastic bottle with a flip top lid, it has a yellow lid and the Aloe Gel is a green colour.
Aloe Vera is well know for it's soothing properties.
Using after sun helps to stop your skin from peeling and keeps it moisturised.
It has a pleasant smell, and doesn't sting my sensitive skin.
So say Aloe to Vera and goodbye to sunburn... ...
